It's Immaterial is the second studio LP by Black Marble, released on October 14, 2016 through the Ghostly International record label.

Seen as a moment where the more sentimental elements of Black Marble, previously restrained by intentionally obfuscating production values, start to break through for the first time. This LP is regarded as Black Marbles highest achievement if heart were the only thing that mattered. Songs like Frisk and Its Conditional serve as standouts here, where Stewart shows a few more of his cards without giving away the game.

According to Drowned in Sound's Stephen Proski, It's Immaterial combines elements of "early Eighties post-punk and synth-driven proto dream pop." AllMusic's Tim Sendra argued that the album harks back to the "gloomy, muted sound of the first record, which mixed together Stewart's disembodied vocals, Peter Hook-style basslines, janky drum machines, and synths so cold they'd freeze water.
